While Staing that he will not be attending President-elect Trump’s inauguration, Congressman John Lewis also called into question whether Trump deserved to be president.
The Democratic from Georgia stated on “Meet The Press” that he believed Russia’s hacking helped Trump in the 2016 race making Trump an illegitimate president. “I think the Russians participated in helping this man get elected, and they helped destroy the candidacy of Hillary Clinton.” Lewis called it a “conspiracy” and added “That’s not right. That’s not fair. That’s not the open democratic process.”
