There were some big ones, some really big ones. And there were many, very many lies. As a matter of fact, Donald Trump set an all time record for telling lies during his short tenure (Trump tells over 2,000 lies ) But when we look back at the year and try to pick out the biggest lie Donald Trump told this year, one stands out: Russians didn't interfere in the elections.
The Democrats made up and pushed the Russian story as an excuse for running a terrible campaign. Big advantage in Electoral College & lost!

All year long it has been repeatedly reported how the Russians did, in fact, meddle in the US elections. On January 6th of 2017, The Director of National Intelligence released a report compiled by the CIA, FBI and the NSA detailing the efforts of the Russians, and their desire to infiltrate and disrupt the elections (Trump Russian Interference Report). Facebook has admitted that Russian accounts posted millions of false stories intended to influence the election. Twitter has claimed that Russian accounts were responsible for over 2 million tweets/retweets of items damaging to the Democrats and favoring Donald Trump.
Just about every major US intelligence agency has indicated they believe the Russian Government, and Vladimir Putin specifically, conspired to influence the US election. There is no mystery that it happened, and how it happened. Yet the leader of the Free World continues to claim it is a hoax. This is his biggest, and most dangerous lie odf the year.
