Another senseless mass shooting occurred today at one of America’s High Schools. 17 people, including both children and adults are dead as a result of the shooting.
Early reports indicate that a former disgruntled former student returned to the campus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., about 30 miles northwest of Fort Lauderdale, and opened fire. In addition to the 17 killed, 13 are being treated at area hospitals for wounds.
This attack marks the 18th school shooting in 2018, and the deadliest school shooting in American history. The deadliest mass shooting in American history happened in Trump’s first year when a shooter killed 58 people attending an October country-western music concert in Las Vegas.
