In a recently released Pew Center survey, respondents around the world had less confidence that Trump would do the right thing when it came to politics than other world leaders. The survey asked respondents how confident they were that four world leaders would do the right thing when it came to world affairs.
Angela Merkel of Germany rated the highest, with 42% of respondents having confidence that she would do the right thing. President Xi Jinping of China came in second at 28% having confidence, with Putin of Russia scoring ahead of Trump at 27%. Trump came in a disappointing fourth (and last) place at 22% of respondents having confidence he would do the right thing regarding world affairs.
The survey also showed that by country, Trump trailed Obama in every major country except for Israel and Russia. The entire survey can be found here: Pew Survey on leadership Please note there are multiple pages to the survey, page four shows results for confidence in the top world leaders.
