Upset about the “Fake News” and the recently released tell-all book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House”, today President Trump stated that he wants to strengthen US libel laws.
Widely considered the most dishonest liar to ever hold the office of President of the United States, many thought the President’s comments were laughable. The New York Times has chronicled many of Trump’s lies and misrepresentations in his first months of office (Trump Lies).
Does Trump lie? Absolutely, there is documented evidence. Does he profit from his lies? Many would say yes, if not directly then at least indirectly.
The best part of this video is the last 20 seconds where Trump says “We want fairness, you can’t say things that are false, knowingly false and, uh, be able to smile as money pours into your bank account”.
