Has enough water gone under the bridge? Apparently in the case of Jon Huntsman it has. Today President Trump nominated Huntsman as Ambassador to Russia despite criticizing his performance in 2012.
A Republican, Jon Huntsman, served as Ambassador to China during the Obama administration. Huntsman also served as Governor of the state of Utah, and Ambassador to Singapore. Huntsman has served in one capacity or another in every presidential administration since Ronald Regan.
