Yet another Trump aide was fired today, this time for “serious financial crimes”. John McEntee was escorted out of the White House by the Secret Service.
But do not shed a tear for the young 27-year-old. The personal aide to the President was immediately hired by the Trump Campaign as a Senior Adviser. The President apparently could not pass up hiring the “very best people”, even though they are accused of financial crimes so serious, they need to escorted from the White House grounds. Never mind we had to just fire him, lets hire him again!
Federal law enforcement officials later confirmed that McEntee was under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security for serious financial crimes. The Wall Street Journal reported that McEntee had problems relating to gambling and taxes that were an obstacle to his obtaining security clearance.
McEntee adds to the very long list of Trump aides and staff members who are either fired or forced to resign in disgrace. The Trump Administration has easily surpassed any previous record for staff turnover.
