It a confusing round of statements, President Trump said that he thought it would be a good idea to allow treachers to carry fire arms. he then tweeted that he did not make the statement. He then said He thought it would be a good idea for some teachers to be armed. It’s comforting to have a President who so clearly articulates and stands firm on his convictions.
Trump first puts forward the idea of conceal carry for teachers:
And this morning, the President seemed to reverse course, denying he said give teachers guns, but in the same tweet says to give teachers guns.
I never said “give teachers guns” like was stated on Fake News @CNN & @NBC. What I said was to look at the possibility of giving “concealed guns to gun adept teachers with military or special training experience – only the best. 20% of teachers, a lot, would now be able to

And then even stranger, the President then confirms his tweets, states it was fake news that he wants teachers to conceal and carry, and then10 seconds later suggests that teachers (perhaps 20% or 40%) conceal and carry and receive a bonus for doing so.
