President Trump claimed Monday that he would have rushed into the school during the shooting that occured two weeks ago at a Florida high school. The shooting killed 17 people. The President stated that deputy sherrifs “wern’t exactly Medal Of Honor winners” and then later called it “a disgrace” the way they performed.
“I really believe I’d run in, even if I didn’t have a weapon,” Trump said during a White House meeting with governors from across the country, adding that he thinks the governors assembled also would have rushed into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. “You never know until you’re tested,” he added.
The President filed for, and received five deferments to serve his country during the Vietnam war. One of the deferments were for bone spurs he claimed to have, which kept him disabilitated. The President does not walk with a limp, and the bone spurs have not kept him from playing golf on almost a weekly basis. Trump’s Bone Spurs
